Alda, the new lamp by architect-designer Gaetano Pesce, fills the Moss windows for the holidays with what we are calling a "musical (de)light." The brightly colored resin lamp appears in five differing forms: large lamp with electronic chips, large lamp with bells, small lamp with bells, small lamp without bells and wall sconce. Each lamp is made by hand and is unique. The lamps with chips are touch sensitive and when lightly touched will create a small symphony of sounds, each one different. The lamps with bells will jingle happily when touched. The lamps with neither are silently powerful. The Alda is named for the artist's mother.
